Gary
Panter
Panter
rose to fame in the 80's as chief designer for Pee Wee's Playhouse
on CBS, which won him three Emmys. His career has taken him from
fine artist
to cartoonist to interior designer. His work has been seen in Time,
Newsweek
and Rolling Stone. He's also known for his cult comic book, Jimbo.
While his paintings can fetch thousands of dollars, he also has
reached out to
art collectors with smaller, reasonably priced commissions. Fans
can send him
two or three keywords and grant him creative freedom and he will
create
a piece for them. One of my keywords was, obviously, Spider-man.
You can reach him at GaryPanter.com.
